| 설명 | 위에 이어서 작은창자가 시작되는 부위로서, 길이가 손가락마디 12개를 늘어놓은 것과 같다고 하여 십이지장 이름이 붙여졌다. 그러나 실제 길이는 약 25cm 정도다. 위의 마지막 부분으로 조금씩 위의 내용물을 내어놓는 역할을 하는 날문에서 이어지는 샘창자상부는 X선 촬영시에 둥근 모양으로 관찰이 되어서 샘창자망울이라고 불리는데, 샘창자궤양이 잘 발생하는 부위이다. 상부 이하는 내림부, 가로부, 오름부로 이어진다. 샘창자의 내면은 상부를 제외한 전체 창자관 내벽의 절반 정도의 옆주름이 잡혀 있는데, 이를 돌림주름이라고 한다. 또 샘창자 하행부에는 이자관과 쓸개관이 개구하고 있다. |
