| 설명 | 월경 때 하복부, 자궁 따위에 생기는 통증. 주된 증세로는 구역-두통-요통-불면-식욕부진-신경과민 등을 들 수 있다. 자궁근종-자궁내막염-자궁후굴증이나 강도의 자궁전굴증-자궁발육부전 및 신경질적인 여성에게서 많이 볼 수 있다. 월경통은 보통 초경을 맞이하고 2~3년이 지난 후 배란이 정상적으로 발생하는 17세경부터 뱔생하기 시작한다. 월경통 중 하복부통은 월경이 시작된 지 이틀 정도면 대개 없어지는데, 때로는 월경 기간 중 또는 월경이 끝난 뒤에도 며칠간 지속되기도 한다. 원인별로는 크게 기능적-기질적 월경곤란증으로 대별된다. 전자는 젊은 여성에게 주로 발생하는 것으로 자궁이나 난소에 이상이 발견되지 않는 경우를 말한다. 느끼는 통증도 개인마다 다르다. 이 때에는 전문의와의 상담 또는 기혼 여성의 경우 배란 억제제의 사용을 들 수 있다. 기질적 월경곤란증은 30대 이후 여성에게 주로 발생하는 자궁이상과 난소이상일 경우로서, 자궁내막염이나 자궁근종이 원인인 경우이다. 이 때의 증세로는 자궁 부위에 통증이 있으며, 자궁비대증을 가져온다. 기질적 원인은 불임증의 원인이 될 수도 있으므로 반드시 검진을 통하여 치료해야 한다. |
