| 설명 | 치수에 일어나는 염증으로 우식에서 속발되는 것이 가장 많다. 세균감염 이외에 물리적-화학적인자가 원인이 된다. 세균의 감염경로로서는 상아세관을 경유하는 것이나 치주질환의 염증부위, 그리고 혈행을 거쳐서 일어나는 상행성치수염 등이 있다. 치수염의 미생물학적 양상은 증례에 따라서 다양하며 특정의 원인균을 지적하기는 곤란하나 알파용혈성 사슬알균이 가장 많다. 폐쇄성치수염에서는 사슬알균(Streptococcus mitis 등), 코리네박테륨종이 흔히 검출된다. 개방성치수염에서는 사슬알균(S. mitis, S sanguis, 베타용혈성사슬알균, S. salivalius), 포피로모나스, 젖산막대균, 포도알균 등 다양한 균이 검출된다. |
