| 설명 | 대뇌속의 제3뇌실 주위에 존재하는 큰 달걀 모양의 신경세포체로 이루어진 회색질이다. 후각을 제외한 모든 감각 즉 체성감각, 시각, 청각, 미각 등이 대뇌피질에 도달하기전 거쳐가는 중간 경유지이다. 따라서 이 곳이 파괴시 이상의 감각이 전해지지 않는다. |
