| 설명 | 천천히 진행되는 증후군으로 척수, 특히 목척수의 중앙부분에 공동이 생기며, 이 병터는 숨뇌로 올라가거나(숨뇌구멍증) 흉부로 내려가기도 한다. 이의 원인은 발생학적 이상 또는 종양, 외상, 경색, 출혈 등에 의해 이차적으로 나타나기도 하며, 원인을 모르는 수도 있다. 이는 해리성 감각소실(통증과 온도감각은 없어지나 촉각은 유지됨)을 동반한 분절성 근육쇠약과 위축 등의 신경학적 장애가 나타나며 때로는 등척추측만이 나타나기도 한다. 이 용어는 경우에 따라 제한적으로 쓰이며, 다른 병적인 상태와 관련된 비슷한 임상증상에 분절성감각해리가 동반된 위팔근육위축, 위팔근육위축증을 동반한 감각해리증후군을 가리키는 데 쓰인다. |
