| 설명 | 물질을 입과 인두를 통해서 윤상인두협착을 지나 식도를 통해서 위내에 보내는 것. 씹어서 형성된 음식덩어리가 구강 안에서부터 인두, 식도를 거쳐 위로 보내지기까지의 일련의 과정을 말한다. 삼키기는 그 일련의 과정 중에서 어느 부위에 있는가에 따라 아래와 같은 3단계로 나뉜다. ① 제1단계: 구강으로부터 인두까지의 시기이며 수의상이라고도 불리고 자신의 의지로 도중에 멈출 수 있다. ② 제2단계: 인두로부터 식도까지의 시기이며 구강의 뒷부분이나 인두가 자극되면 연하반사가 유발되고 일단 유발되면 일련의 과정이 자동적으로 일어나 도중에 멈출 수가 없다. 이때 일반적으로 호흡이 정지된다. 이를 연하성 무호흡이라 한다. ③ 제3단계: 음식덩어리가 식도에 들어간 뒤 위에 도달하기까지의 시기이다. 식도에 음식이 들어가면 유동파가 발생하여 4~6초에 위까지 도달한다. |

The terminal electron acceptor, instead of oxygen in the case of regular respiration, can be: carbon dioxide, Fe2+, fumarate, nitrate, nitrite, nitrous oxide, sulphur, sulphate, etc. Note that anaerobic respiration still uses the electron transport chain to dump the electron while fermentation does not.
