| 설명 | 습진이란 급성기에는 가려움증을 동반하는 수포(작은 물집), 홍반(피부의 적색 변화), 부종(피부가 붓는 것) 등이 나타나고 만성기에는 부종, 수포는 감소되는 반면에 태선화(건조하고 딱딱해진 피부로 인해서 피부에 정상적으로 존재하는 손금 등의 선이 더 뚜렷해지는 것), 비늘(scale-죽은 세포가 피부로부터 떨어져서 하얀색의 비늘같은 것이 피부에 붙어 있는 것), 피부색의 변화 등이 형성되는 모든 피부 질환들을 이르는 말이다. 그 발생빈도는 지역에 따라 다소 차이가 있으나 전체 피부 질환의 약 1/3~1/4을 차지하고 있다. |

| atopic eczema | <dermatology> An inflammatory condition of the skin that includes redness, itching and oosing vesicular lesions which become scaly, crusted or hardened. Anxiety, stress and depression may all play a role in the exacerbation of eczema. Those with atopic eczema may be discovered to have an increased eosinophil count in their blood.
