| 설명 | 특정한 자극을 귀나 청각에 관계하는 곳에 가해서 청력을 측정하는 방법. 여러 가지가 있지만 대표적인 것은 다음과 같다. ①순음청력검사(pure tone audiometry): 삐-소리가 나는 순음을 크기나 강도를 달리하여 들려주고 들을 수 있는지 여부를 이용하여 청력을 검사하는 방법. ②어음청취검사(speech audiometry): 단음절어나 2음절어를 크기나 강도를 달리하여 들려주고 이것을 듣는지 못듣는지를 알아내어 청력을 검사하는 방법. |

| audiometry, evoked response | A form of electrophysiologic audiometry in which an analog computer is included in the circuit to average out ongoing or spontaneous brain wave activity.
