| 설명 | 입속의 천장을 구성하며 동시에 콧구멍의 바닥을 이루는 구조물을 입천장이라 한다. 입천장은 크게 2가지로 나뉘어져 앞쪽의 뼈로 이루어진 부분을 단단입천장(hard palate)라 하고, 뒷부분의 근육성 주름을 물렁입천장(soft palate)라 한다. 주된 구조물은 건막과 근육 그리고 림프 조직이며 한가운데에는 목젖(uvula)이라고 하는 돌기가 존재한다. 목젖의 옆으로는 두개의 주름 즉 입천장혀활(palatoglossal arch)과 입천장인두궁(palatopharyngeal arch)이 존재하며 이 두 주름사이에 입천장편도(palatine tonsil)가 있다. 연구개의 기능은 음식을 삼킬 때 그 뒷끝이 인두의 뒷벽에 닿음으로써 음식물이 코로 역류하지 못하게 한다. |

| 설명 | 볼록하게 피부의 융기된 양성종양이다. 이것은 HPV(human papilloma virus)라는 바이러스의 감염으로 일어나며, 증상은 없는 경우가 많으나, 아픔을 호소하기도 한다. 치료는 심한 경우 제거하는 것이 좋으며, 이때 재발하지 않도록 조심해야 한다. 그 생긴 모양에 따라 여러 가지로 분류하며, 편평 사마귀(verruca plana) 주로 발바닥에 발생한다. 볼록 솟은 모양이 아닌 편평한 모양이다), 뾰족콘딜로마(condyloma acuminatum) 외부성기에 발생하며, 성병의 일종, 보통사마귀(verruca vulgaris) 가장 흔한 형태의 사마귀 등이 있다. |
