| 설명 | 위와 큰창자 사이의 길이 5m내외의 소화기관으로서 샘창자, 빈창자, 돌창자의 세 부분으로 구성됨. 1)샘창자: 소장의 제일 첫부분으로서 길이 25cm의 C자형모양. 상부, 내림, 가로, 오름의 네부위로 구성되며, 상부 부위를 제외하고는 모두 뒤복벽에 고정되어 있으며 내부에는 돌림주름이라는 점막 주름이 존재함. 위에서 넘어온 소화된 음식이 담즙, 이자액에서 분비되는 소화효소액)과 섞이는 장소이며 철이 흡수되는 장소임. 2)빈창자:작은창자의 두번째 부분으로서 근위부 2/5를 차지함. 공장은 회장에 비해 직경이 크고 장벽이 두꺼우며 혈관이 풍부하고 장간막이 투명하고 직행혈관이 긴 것이 특징임. 3)돌창자:작은창자의 마지막 부분으로서 원위부 3/5을 차지함. 특히 돌창자, 큰창자 이행부 부위에는 파이어판이라는 림프절이 존재하며, 이곳은 각종 질병의 중요한 발생 부위가 됨. 담즙염 및 비타민 B12가 흡수되는 장소임. |

| parapsoriasis | The term applied to a group of relatively uncommon inflammatory, maculopapular, scaly eruptions of unknown aetiology and resistant to conventional treatment. Eruptions are both psoriatic and lichenoid in appearance, but the diseases are distinct from psoriasis, lichen planus, or other recognised dermatoses. | parapsoriasis guttata | A subgroup of parapsoriasis itself divided into acute and chronic forms. The acute form is characterised by the abrupt onset of a generalised, reddish-brown, maculopapular eruption. Lesions may be vesicular, haemorrhagic, crusted, or necrotic. Histologically the disease is characterised by epidermal necrolysis. The chronic form shows milder skin changes with necrosis. An important variant of the chronic form is lymphomatoid papulosis. | plaque | <dentistry> Dental plaque is a combination of food (left in the mouth after eating), bacteria (which live in the mouth) and bacterial byproducts (acidic wastes). These acidic wastes can break down the tooth enamel leading to tooth decay. | plaque assay | 1. <investigation> Assay for virus in which a dilute solution of the virus is applied to a culture dish containing a layer of the host cells, convective spread is prevented by making the medium very viscous. After incubation the plaques, areas in which cells have been killed (or transformed), can be recognised and the number of infective virus particles in the original suspension estimated. 2. Assay for cells producing antibody against erythrocytes or against antigen that has been bound to the erythrocytes. The cell is surrounded by a clear plaque of haemolysis.
