| 설명 | 부교감 신경 차단제인 아트로핀(atropin)과 함께 가지과 식물의 잎사귀와 뿌리에 들어있는 알칼로이드계통의 약물로 항무스카린성(antimuscarinic: 부교감신경을 억제하는) 작용을 일으킨다. 즉, 침샘, 기관지 분비샘, 땀샘의 분비 억제와 눈동자 확대와 심박촉진억제 등을 야기한다. 그리고, 멀미약으로 쓰이기도 한다. |

| scopolamine | <chemical> An alkaloid from solanaceae, especially datura metel l. And scopola carniolica. Scopolamine and its quaternary derivatives act as antimuscarinics like atropine, but may have more central nervous system effects. Among the many uses are as an anaesthetic premedication, in urinary incontinence, in motion sickness, as an antispasmodic, and as a mydriatic and cycloplegic. Pharmacological action: anaesthesia adjuvants, antiemetics, muscarinic antagonists, mydriatics, parasympatholytics.
