| 설명 | 인체구조 중 모뿔모양의 구조나 부분에 대한 용어. 대뇌겉질의 지각운동부에서 주로 기시하며, 속섬유막, 대뇌각, 교뇌를 하행하여 숨뇌에 도달하는 두 군의 섬유(겉질핵로, 겉질척수로)에 적용되는 용어이다. 겉질핵섬유로 뇌간의 운동핵과 연접한다. 대부분의 겉질척수로는 피라밋교차에서 교차하며, 외측추체로로서 척수를 하행한다. 비교차섬유의 대부분은 전추체로를 이룬다. 두 신경로는 개재신경원 및 운동신경원과 연결함으로써 끝난다. 피라밋으로는 종족발생상 새로운 신경로로서 인간에서 가장 현저하며, 직접적인 겉질지배, 숙련된 운동(특히 발성이나 수지를 포함하는)의 시작과 관계된다. |

| 설명 | 콩팥실질의 병변으로 인해 야기된 고혈압. 콩팥의 대표적 기능은 노폐물 및 수분의 배설이다. 그런데 이러한 콩팥기능에 이상이 생겼을 경우 체내에 과잉수분의 축적이 발생하게 된다. 이와같은 과잉수분의 축적은 혈관내 정수압을 상승시켜 고혈압을 유발하게 된다. 치료는 원인 콩팥병의 교정이며 이유를 모르는 원발고혈압과 달리 콩팥성고혈압의 경우에는 원인 콩팥병이 교정되면 고혈압도 사라지게 된다. |
