| 설명 | 방사선의학. 의료에 사용할 수 있는 각종 방사선을 이용하여 질병의 진단 및 치료와 그 질병의 병태생리 또는 생화학적 연구를 하는 학문. 이는 X선을 이용하는 분야와 방사성 동위원소를 이용하는 핵의학 분야로 분류된다. X선을 이용한 질병의 진단은 X선이 신체 내의 조직 또는 이물 등에 의해 흡수 또는 산란되는 차에 의한 X선의 강도변화를 필름 또는 형광물질에 투영시켜 그 투과양상에 따라 판정하는 것으로, 특수검사시는 조영제-형광판-TV-컴퓨터 또는 정전기 등을 이용하여 진단율을 높인다. |

| 설명 | X-선같은 방사선이 자유롭게 투과할 수 있는 성질을 지칭하는 말로 인체에서는 공기로 가득 차 있는 허파가 대표적인 방사선 투과성 장기에 해당되는데 필름에는 검게 나타난다. 그리고 이에 비해 방사선이 잘 투과하지 않는 경우 방사선비투과성(radiopacity)라고 한다. 이 경우 필름에는 희게 표시되는 데 뼈가 대표적인 경우이다. 방사선투과성에 따라 인체의 조직을 나누면 다음과 같은 순서이다. |
