| 설명 | 외상을 입은 피부나 각종 장기 등에 고름이 생기는 일. 일반적으로 화농균에 의한 급성 화농을 가리키지만, 결핵이나 매독 등의 만성감염성 화농 외에 테레빈유나 질산은 등에 의한 화학적 화농, 세균독소에 의한 화농 등 균체가 증명되지 않는 무균적 화농도 있다. 화농균이 생체에 감염하면 국소가 충혈되고 백혈구가 모인다. 병리학적으로는 화농성 염에 해당하며, 화농카타르염-축농증-고름집-벌집염의 네 가지형이 있다. |
