| 설명 | 병에 걸리는 정도를 표시하는 통계적 지표. 즉, 어떤 감염에 대한 접촉이나, 혹은 방사선 등에 폭로되었을 때, 어떤 병이나 손상을 입게 될 정도를 말한다. 어떤 병적상태를 가지고 있는 상태를 통계적 의미로 쓸때 사용한다. 이런 개념은 예를 들어, 치료방사선과에서는 필수적이 된다. 왜냐하면 암에 대항해 쓰는 방사선은 당연히 정상적인 조직에도 해를 미칠 것이므로, 이 정상적인 조직에 미칠 이환률을 최소로 하고, 암의 치료를 시행해야 하기 때문이다. |
