| 영문 | lymph | 한글 | 림프 |
|---|---|---|---|

| deep inguinal lymph nodes | Several small nodes deep to the fascia lata and medial to the femoral vein; they receive lymph from the deep structures of the lower limb, from the glans penis and from superficial inguinal nodes; efferents pass to the external iliac nodes. Synonym: nodi lymphatici inguinales profundi. (05 Mar 2000) |
|---|---|
| deep inguinal ring | The opening in the transversalis fascia through which the ductus deferens (or round ligament in the female) and gonadal vessels enter the inguinal canal. Located midway between anterior superior iliac spine and pubic tubercle, it is bounded medially by the lateral umbilical ligament (inferior epigastric vessels) and inferiorly by the inguinal ligament. Indirect inguinal hernias exit the abdominal cavity via the deep inguinal ring Synonym: annulus inguinalis profundus, abdominal ring, annulus abdominalis, internal inguinal ring. (05 Mar 2000) |
| superficial inguinal lymph nodes | A group of 12 to 20 nodes that lie in the subcutaneous tissue below the inguinal ligament and along the terminal part of the great saphenous vein; they drain the skin and subcutaneous tissue of the lower abdominal wall, perineum, buttock, external genitalia, and lower limb; they are subdivided into three groups: inferior (vertical) group of superficial inguinal lymph nodes, located inferior to the saphenous opening receiving drainage of the lower limb; superolateral (lateral horizontal) superfical inguinal lymph nodes located lateral to the saphenous opening receiving drainage of lateral buttock and lower anterior abdominal wall; and superomedial (medial horizontal) superficial inguinal lymph nodes, located medial to the saphenous opening, receiving drainage of the perineum and external genitalia. Synonym: nodi lymphatici inguinales superficiales. (05 Mar 2000) |
| angiofollicular mediastinal lymph node hyperplasia | Solitary masses of lymphoid tissue containing concentric perivascular aggregates of lymphocytes, occurring usually in the mediastinum or hilar region of young adults; similar changes have been reported outside the mediastinum and, if associated with interfollicular sheets of plasma cells, may progress to lymphoma or plasmacytoma. Synonym: angiofollicular mediastinal lymph node hyperplasia, Castleman's disease. (05 Mar 2000) |
| anterior tibial lymph node | A small inconstant lymph node in front of the interosseous membrane along the upper part of the anterior tibial vessels. Synonym: nodus tibialis anterior, anterior tibial node. (05 Mar 2000) |
| benign giant lymph node hyperplasia | Solitary masses of lymphoid tissue containing concentric perivascular aggregates of lymphocytes, occurring usually in the mediastinum or hilar region of young adults; similar changes have been reported outside the mediastinum and, if associated with interfollicular sheets of plasma cells, may progress to lymphoma or plasmacytoma. Synonym: angiofollicular mediastinal lymph node hyperplasia, Castleman's disease. (05 Mar 2000) |
| buccal lymph node | One of the chain of facial lymph nodes located superficial to the buccinator muscle. Synonym: nodus buccinatorius, buccinator node, buccal node. (05 Mar 2000) |
| malar lymph node | One of the facial lymph nodes located near the zygomatic minor muscle. Synonym: nodus malaris, malar node. (05 Mar 2000) |
| mandibular lymph node | One of the facial lymph nodes located by the facial artery near the point it crosses the mandible. Synonym: nodus mandibularis, mandibular nodes. (05 Mar 2000) |
| paratracheal lymph node | Nodes along the sides of the trachea in the neck and in the posterior mediastinum; receive drainage of superior (and inferior) tracheobranchial (nodes, trachea and oesophagus); drain to bronchomediastinal lymphatic trunk(s), thoracic duct. Synonym: nodi lymphatici paratracheales, tracheal lymph nodes. (05 Mar 2000) |
| giant lymph node hyperplasia | Large benign, hyperplastic lymph nodes. The more common hyaline vascular subtype is characterised by small hyaline vascular follicles and interfollicular capillary proliferations. Plasma cells are often present and represent another subtype with the plasma cells containing IgM and IgA. (12 Dec 1998) |
| medial lacunar lymph node | A lymph node of the external iliac group located medial to the external iliac vein at the vascular lacuna. Synonym: nodus lacunaris medialis, medial lacunar node. (05 Mar 2000) |
| medulla of lymph node | The central portion of a node consisting of cordlike masses of lymphocytes, plasma cells, and macrophages in a stroma of reticular fibres separated by lymph sinuses; it reaches the surface of the node at the hilum. Synonym: medulla nodi lymphatici. (05 Mar 2000) |
| middle rectal lymph node | A lymph node along the middle rectal artery that receives afferents from the pararectal nodes and sends efferents to the internal iliac nodes. Synonym: middle rectal node, nodus rectalis medius. (05 Mar 2000) |
| mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome | <syndrome> An acute febrile illness in children first described in Japan in the late 1960's. Referred to as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome because of typical changes in the mucus membranes that line the lips and mouth. Enlarged and tender lymph glands are also seen. Synonym:: Kawasaki disease. (13 Nov 1997) |
