| 설명 | 가슴벽의 외과적 절개. 흉강 안에 있는 장기는 외상을 입는 경우도 있고, 또 여러 질병에 걸릴 수도 있다. 따라서 외상을 치료하거나 또는 질병을 치료하기 위해서 흉강을 절개해야 하는 경우가 있다. 흉강은 갈비뼈를 절제하지 않더라도 갈비뼈와 갈비뼈 사이에 있는 근육을 잘라서 절개할 수가 있다. 그런데 흉강 안은 호흡상태 여하에 관계없이 항상 대기압보다 음압으로 되어 있기 때문에 개흉과 동시에 폐가 오그라들고 호흡곤란을 호소한다. 흉강의 내면은 흉벽흉막과 폐흉막으로 덮여 있으며, 생리적으로 허파와 가슴벽 사이에는 좁은 공간이 있다. 가슴막염을 앓은 사람은 가슴막이 유착되어 있기 때문에 개흉을 하더라도 폐가 급격히 오그라들지 않으므로 호흡곤란을 느끼지 않는다. |
