| 설명 | 1. 세포발육 중 항구성 특징이 나타나기 전의 미숙한 단계에 있는 세포. 사기질모세포, 적모세포, 신경모세포 등과 같이 접미어로도 사용된다. 2. 폭풍. 고성능 폭탄이나 포탄 등의 폭발에 의하여 생기는 기압의 공기진탕(air concussion), 고압고속파(충격파)가 일어나고 이어서 흡인성 작용을 동반하는 감속파가 뒤따른다. 폭풍에 의하여 폐동맥진탕이나 출혈, 흉부나 복부 내장의 파열, 고막의 파열, 중추신경계에 대한 이차적 영향 등이 일어난다. |

| blast | 1. <biology, suffix> A suffix or terminal formative, used principally in biological terms, and signifying growth or formation. An immature precursor cell of the type indicated by the preceding word, for example; bioblast, epiblast, mesoblast, etc. 2. A violent gust of wind. A forcible stream of air from an orifice, as from a bellows, the mouth, etc. Hence: The continuous blowing to which one charge of ore or metal is subjected in a furnace; as, to melt so many tons of iron at a blast. 3. The terms hot blast and cold blast are employed to designate whether the current is heated or not heated before entering the furnace.
