| 설명 | 소행할 가망이 없는 사람을 마취약 주사 등 고통이 없는 방법으로 사망하게 하는 것을 말한다. 미국에서는 80개 이상의 주에서 자연사법(리빙윌)이 제정되어 있으며 “스스로 정한 사망방법, 죽을 권리”가 주장될 수 있다. 최근 네덜란드에서는 안락사가 법적으로 허용되었다. 우리나라에서도 안락사나 존엄사에 대한 논의가 빈번하게 거론되고 있지만 이것들에 대한 의학적 또는 법률적인 판단은 아직 명확하지 않다. |
