| 설명 | 침샘의 하나. 침샘이란, 음식을 삼킬 때 입안으로 분비되어 음식물이 잘게 씹히는데 도움을 주며, 음식물을 소화하는데 이용되는 효소를 가지고 있는 침을 생산하는 곳을 말함. 크게 3가지의 침샘을 가지고 있으며, 위치와 모양은 옆의 그림과 같다.  |

| 설명 | 신경세포를 이루는 구성조직의 하나이다. 수초는 각 신경을 둘러싸고 있으며, 전기적 전달에 대해 절연체를 형성함으로써, 빠른 신경전달이 이루어지도록 해준다. 또한 각 말이집 사이사이에는 패임 이 형성되어 란비에결절(Ranvier's node) 이 존재하는데 이 결절사이를 신경전달에 있어서 점프식으로 진행되므로 빠른 전달이 가능해진다. |
