a usually solitary skin lesion of long duration and slow growth characterized histologically by large numbers of abnormal mononuclear cells infiltrating the epidermis with an underlying reactive mixed dermal infiltrate, which is considered by some authorities to represent an indolent, epidermotropic form of cutaneous T cell lymphoma. Called also Woringer-Kolopp disease or syndrome.
