| 설명 | 마약의 일종. 종류로는 opium(아편)에서 추출한 morphine과 codeine 등이 있다. 정상적으로는 극심한 스트레스 상태에서 스트레스에 대한 고통을 줄이는 역할을 한다. 하지만, 고통이 없는 정상적인 신체상태에 아편이 과다하게 들어올 경우 마약으로 작용한다. 마약류의 약제는 신체적이든, 혹은 정신적이든, 어떤 면에서라도 의존성을 유발하게 되며, 이러한 의존성은 계속적인 약에 대한 탐익과 사회생활의 문란, 건강의 파탄을 가져오게 되므로 대부분의 국가에서 필요한 경우이외에는 이의 사용을 금지하고 있다. |
