| 설명 | 뇌바닥부에 있으며 터어키안장에 위치하는 이중기원의 상피성 소체. 중요한 내분비 장기 중 하나이다. 전엽, 중엽, 후엽의 세 부분으로 이루어져 있고, 다른 내분비선의 활동을 지배하는 호르몬을 분비하며, 생식과 발육에 밀접한 관계가 있다. |

| 설명 | 척추에서 척수가 내려가는 통로. 이외에도 신경이 지나가는 막힌 통로에 해당하는 곳은 모두 신경관으로 부른다. 예를 들어 손의 감각과 운동을 담당하는 자뼈신경(ulnar nerve)이 지나가는 곳에 존재하는, 뼈와 주위조직에 둘러싸인 곳을 Guaon's canal(ulnar neural canal)이라 부른다. 대개 이런 곳은 주위조직의 부종이나, 외상 등으로 좁아지기 쉬어서 병터가 발생하기 쉽다. |
