a physician who specializes in diseases of the kidneys. neurosurgeon - a physician specializing in operations to treat disorders of the nervous system. neuroblastoma - cancer occurring in the nerve cells. non-Hodgkin's disease - a type of lymphoma, a cancer in the lymphatic system; causes the cells in the lymphatic system to abnormally reproduce, eventually causing tumors to grow. Non-Hodgkin's disease cells can also spread to other organs.
