| 설명 | 신생아의 질병과 그 치료에 대해 연구하는 학문을 말한다. 소아에서도 신생아에서 사망률이 가장 높은 데 특히 생후 1일이 가장 많고, 다음으로 생후 1주가 가장 사망률이 높다고 한다. 따라서 이런 높은 사망률을 미연에 방지하고자 하기 위하여 발달된 소아과의 한 분야이다. 국가의 보건정책중 가장 중요한 요소중의 하나이다. |
