| 설명 | 각막은 눈앞에 있는 맑고 투명한 조직으로 기능은 이것을 통과한 빛을 꺽이게 하는 일종의 볼록렌즈로서 눈앞에 존재하여 눈으로 들어오는 빛을 망막에 맺히게 하는 기능을 한다. 만약 각막이 정상보다 두터워서 들어오는 빛을 많이 꺽이게 하면 빛의 초점이 망막보다 앞에 있게 되고 그렇게 되면 근시가 된다. 만약 각막이 정상보다 얇아지게 되면 들어온 빛이 적게 꺽여서 초점이 망막보다 뒤에 맺여 원시가 된다. 난시란 각막의 표면이 균일한 볼록렌즈와 같지 못하고 일정치 못한 것을 말한다. 이렇게 되면 눈에 들어온 빛이 일정하게 꺽이는 것이 아니고 들어오는 방향에 따라 달리 꺽이게 되어서 촛점이 한 점에 모이지 않고 망막에 맺힌 물체의 상이 찌그러져 보이게 된다. |
