| 설명 | 뇌줄기의 중간뇌와 숨뇌 사이를 연결하는 부분. 소뇌와 함께 후뇌를 형성하며 좌우의 소뇌반구를 다리처럼 연결하여 그렇게 명명되었고, 후뇌의 복측부에 뚜렷이 융기되어 있어 포유류에서는 숨뇌와 명백히 구별된다. 다리뇌의 등쪽은 제4뇌실의 및부분에 해당되며, 마름모인 목이라고 한다. 다리뇌의 표면에는 세로로 지나는 주름이 있는데, 이것은 좌우의 소뇌반구로 가는 신경섬유속이다. 다리뇌의 등쪽부에는 뇌신경의 기시핵이 있고, 중앙부에서 삼차신경, 그리고 후연으로부터 가돌림신경-얼굴신경-속귀신경이 나간다. 내부구조는 배측의 다리뇌등쪽과 복측의 다리뇌바닥으로 나누어진다. 다리뇌 등쪽은 계통발생적으로 오래 된 부분인데, 하등동물이든 고등동물이든 모두 거의 똑같은 구조를 가졌으며, 감각성-운동성의 기초적인 전도로와 신경세포의 집단이 있다. 다리뇌바닥은 새로운 부분으로 대뇌겉질의 발달에 따라 생긴 부분이며, 고등동물일수록 발달되어 있고, 대뇌겉질로부터의 하행성 전도로와 연결되어 반대쪽의 소뇌겉질을 연락하는 신경세포군과 옆으로 지나가는 신경섬유군으로 구성되어 있다.  |
