| 설명 | 피부가 붇고, 딱딱해지며 색깔의 변화를 보여서 마치 코끼리의 피부와 같이 되는 현상을 이르는 말이다. 이것은 Wuchereria bancrofti 또는 Brugia malayi라는 기생충이 모기로부터 사람에게 감염이 되어 사람의 림프관 속에서 살게 되어서 림프관을 막아서 인체의 특정부위 특히 다리, 음순, 음낭 등의 림프액 순환이 되지 않고 정체가 되기때문에 생기는 병이다. |
