| 설명 | 음식물의 찌꺼기같은 이물이 기도에 들어가 이차적으로 생기는 폐렴. 음식물이나 입안의 미생물이 식도로 넘어가지 않고 기도로 잘못 흡인되어 야기되는 폐렴을 말한다. 흡인 물질의 특성에 따라서 세 가지 증후군을 포함한다. ① 화학적 폐렴은 직접적으로 폐에 유해한 물질을 흡인했을 때 일어나며, 급성 호흡곤란, 빠른 호흡, 빠른맥이 나타나고 동반되는 증상은 주로 청색증, 기관지 경련, 열 등이다. ② 하기도의 세균성 감염이 흡인성 폐렴의 가장 흔한 형태로, 기침, 발열, 고름가래 증상을 나타낸다. ③ 하기도의 기계적 폐쇄는 특별한 물질, 특히 땅콩, 작은 고기덩어리에 의해 흡인되었을 때 일어나며, 흡인 물질과 기도의 직경에 따라 증상은 다르다. 기관에서 막히면 종종 호흡곤란과 함께 사망에 이르기도 하며, 하기도 아래 부분에서 흡인이 일어나면 만성 기침이 발생한다. |

| ACE level | <investigation> This is a blood test which measures the concentration of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in the bloodstream. Elevations in angiotensin-converting enzyme are seen sarcoidosis, histoplasmosis, alcoholic cirrhosis, asbestosis, berylliosis, diabetes, Hodgkin's disease, hyperthyroidism, amyloidosis, primary biliary cirrhosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary embolism, scleroderma, silicosis, tuberculosis, Gaucher's disease and leprosy.
