| 설명 | 눈속의 장기중 하나에 해당. 각막을 통과한 빛은 수정체를 통과하여 망막에 상이 맺히게 되고, 망막은 이 들어온 빛을 자극을 신경세포가 알 수 있는 신호체계로 바꾸어 뇌에 전달해 주게 된다. 각막과 수정체의 중요한 역할은 굴절력을 증가시키는 것이다. 그리하여 올바로 상이 망막에 맺힐 수 있도록 도와주게 된다.  |

| lens, compound | <microscopy> A lens composed of two or more separate pieces of glass or other optical maternal. These component pieces or elements may or may not be cemented together. A common form of compound lens is a two-element objective, one element being a converging lens of crown glass and the other a diverging lens of flint glass. | acetone compound | <biochemistry> Any of the three compounds created by acetyl coenzyme A (acetoacetate, hydroxybutyrate, and acetone) which are water-soluble cellular fuels normally exported by the liver. | aromatic compound | Any compound in which the constituent atoms, or any part of them, form a ring.
