| 설명 | 무의식적이고, 빠른, 눈의 리듬감있는 운동을 말한다. 대개 위아래로의 빠른 반복운동이나, 옆으로의 빠른 눈운동을 가리킨다. 안진은 정상적으로 기차를 타고가다 밖의 경치를 바라볼 때 나타날 수 있다. 병적인 경우에는 속귀의 손상, 신경장애, 직업성 장애, 선천이상 등 많은 경우에서 볼 수 있다. |

| 설명 | 이 자세는 여러 가지 경우에 사용되어 지는데, 예를 들어 한쪽 폐에 물이 찬 경우에 그냥 보통 서서 찍는 X-선 사진 기술로는 잘 나오지 않는 경우가 많다. 이럴 때, 옆으로 누운 자세로 한쪽으로 물이 고이도록 한 상태에서 촬영을 할 경우엔 이 병적인 상태를 명확히 볼 수 있다. 때로는 만삭이 된 임산부가 바로 누워 있을 경우 태아에 의해 혈관이 눌려 실신하는 경우가 있는 데 이럴 경우에도 이 “옆으로 눕는 자세”를 하면 금방 회복될 수 있다. |
