| 설명 | 입술사이가 갈라져 있는 것을 지칭 흔히 일반인들이 말하는 “언챙이”를 의미한다. 대개 남아에서 흔하며, 유전적인 요소도 있는 것으로 보인다. 우리나라에서는 약 700명 중의 1명(입천장갈림증을 포함하여)꼴로 생긴다. |

| 설명 | 이 자세는 여러 가지 경우에 사용되어 지는데, 예를 들어 한쪽 폐에 물이 찬 경우에 그냥 보통 서서 찍는 X-선 사진 기술로는 잘 나오지 않는 경우가 많다. 이럴 때, 옆으로 누운 자세로 한쪽으로 물이 고이도록 한 상태에서 촬영을 할 경우엔 이 병적인 상태를 명확히 볼 수 있다. 때로는 만삭이 된 임산부가 바로 누워 있을 경우 태아에 의해 혈관이 눌려 실신하는 경우가 있는 데 이럴 경우에도 이 “옆으로 눕는 자세”를 하면 금방 회복될 수 있다. |
