| 설명 | 땀은 신체의 체온조절 체계의 중요한 요소로서 교감성신경의 지배를 받아 체온증가시 분비된다. 땀샘은 크게 에크린샘(eccrine gland)과 아포크린샘(apocrine gland)으로 나눌 수 있다. 에크린샘에서는 샘세포는 그대로 있으면서 세포외유출(exocytosis)에 의해 땀을 분비하는 샘으로서 신체 전부위에서 발견되며 손바닥, 발바닥, 이마, 겨드랑이에 가장 풍부함. 아포크린샘에서는 샘의 세포의 일부가 떨어져 나가 땀이 분비되는 샘으로서 겨드랑이, 젖꽃판, 항문생식기 부위의 몇군데에서만 분비됨. |

| 설명 | 사람의 소화기관은 여러 가지 기관으로 구성되어 있는데, 이중 창자관계는 식도, 위, 작은창자와 큰창자로 구성되어 있다. 입으로 먹어서 잘게 분해된 음식은 식도를 거쳐, 위에서 단백질 등이 소화되고, 샘창자에서 이자에서 분비된 소화효소에 의해 소화, 일부 흡수된 후, 대부분의 영양분은 작은창자에서 흡수된다. 큰창자는 주로 물과 미량원소, 전해질의 흡수에 이용되며, 작은창자에서 내려온 분비물을 저장해 두었다가 큰창자를 거쳐 항문으로 대변을 배설하게 된다. 큰창자는 그 위치에 따라 3부분으로 구성되어지며, 막창자, 잘룩창자 그리고 곧창자이다. 잘룩창자은 다시 오름창자, 가로창자, 내림창자로 이루어져 있으며, 이것은 구불창자란 말은 S자 모양으로 굽어져 있다는 말이다)으로 이어져 곧창자장을 거쳐 항문으로 연결된다. |

| 설명 | 가슴의 앞 위쪽에 위치한 림프성 장기로서, 사춘기에 최고의 무게에 달했다가 이후에 퇴축한다. 이것은 세포매개 면역(cell-mediated immunity: 주로 T-림프구에 의해 일어나며, 자기와 다른 세포에 대한 인식과 이식거부반응에 관여함)기능의 발달과 성숙에 필요한 장기이며, 회백적색으로 보통 정중면에서 결합조직에 의해 결합된 두 개의 엽으로 되어 있다. 가슴샘은 상피세포, 림프구, 가슴샘세포로 구성되어 있으며 전구세포가 가슴샘에 이행하여 림프구로 분화되고, 그 대부분은 파괴되나 나머지는 T림프구를 형성한다. 가슴샘은 또한 호르몬 유사물질인 thymine, thymopoietin, thymosin 등을 분비한다. |
