| 설명 | 상부 창자가 하부창자로 말려 들어가는 것으로 6개월에서 1세 미만의 남아에서 호발하며 대부분 그 원인은 밝혀져 있지 않다. 건강하던 아이가 갑자기 자지러지듯이 울며 다리를 배 위로 끌어당기는 동작을 1내지 2분 정도 지속하다가 5~15분간의 무증상 시기가 있는 주기를 반복하는 경우 의심할 수 있다. 때때로 구토를 동반하기도 한다. 진단 및 치료는 방사선과적인 조작에 의한다. X선의 투시하에 조영제를 항문으로부터 역행성으로 주입하여 겹친창자관을 밀어내는 방법을 시도해본다. 효과가 없을 때에는 외과적으로 개복하여 정복한다. |

| intussusception | Intussusception refers to a telescoping of one portion of the intestine into another. This results in reduced blood supply to the affected portion of the intestine. Intussusception is seen almost exclusively in children between the ages of 5 months and 1 year. It is three times more common in boys and the exact cause is unknown.
