| 설명 | 윗 눈꺼풀이 마비되어 늘어지는 현상을 이르는 말이다. 따라서 눈이 눈꺼풀에 가려져 정확히 사물을 볼 수 없는 상황에 이른다. 원인은 눈꺼풀을 뜨게하는 근육의 이상으로 선척적인 경우도 있고, 외상으로 인한 경우도 있다. 대개 젊은 여성에게서 갑작스럽게 발생한 경우 중증근무력증(myasthenia gravis)을 의심할 수 있다. |

| 설명 | 위턱을 형성하는 좌우 한 쌍의 뼈. 윗부분은 옆머리뼈에 연결되고, 가장자리에는 윗니가 있다. 얼굴두개의 중앙에 있는 한 쌍의 뼈로 위턱체, 이마돌기, 광대뼈돌기, 입천장돌기, 이틀돌기로 구성된다. 위턱체는 위턱굴이라고 불리는 공동을 갖으며, 위턱굴열공으로서 비강으로 열린다. 위의 4돌기는 상방으로는 코뼈, 이마뼈, 눈물뼈, 벌집뼈, 보습뼈, 광대뼈와 또한 후방으로는 입천장뼈 및 나비뼈, 날개돌기와 결합하고 있다. |
