| 설명 | 수용성 조영제를 정맥으로 주입한 다음 일정 시간 경과 후 콩팥을 통하여 요로로 배설될 때 촬영하여 요로를 조영시키는 것을 말한다. 콩팥병의 기본적 검사로서 콩팥의 국소적 염증성 및 종양성 질환, 요로 혹은 콩팥의 결석, 선천기형 혹은 콩팥의 외상성 질환, 기타 콩팥 및 요로의 기능적 평가에 이용할 수 있다. 요오드 과민증, 간 및 콩팥의 복합 병, 소변감소증, 다발골수종이 있을 경우에는 시행하지 않는 것이 좋다. |

A radiographic dye is injected intravenously; this dye is taken up by the kidneys, making them much easier to visualize; the dye is excreted via the urine so the renal pelvis and ureters can also be evaluated. Although the dye enters the bladder, the bladder is not distended so bladder diseases can be easily missed; also referred to as an IVP (intravenous pyelogram) or EU (excretory urogram). ...
