| 설명 | 작은창자는 샘창자, 빈창자, 돌창자의 3부분으로 구성되어 있는데, 이것의 가운데 부분을 빈창자라 하며, 음식물의 소화, 흡수에 관여한다. 빈창자와 돌창자는 모양이 매우 꼬불꼬불하여 실제로 펴보면 길이가 7~8m나 된다. 빈창자와 돌창자의 경계는 명확하지 않으며, 앞부분에서 5분의 2를 빈창자, 나머지 부분을 돌창자라 한다. 빈창자는 돌창자보다 약간 굵고 장벽이 두꺼우며 점막에 주름과 혈관이 많고 융모가 촘촘하게 나 있다. 시체에서의 빈창자가 내용물이 아주 적거나 거의 비어 있는 데서 이름이 붙여졌다. |
