| 설명 | 입을 통해 먹은 약물은 흡수된 후 간을 거쳐 병변부위로 운반된다. 따라서 간에서 대사가 되어 약물로서의 효과가 없어질 가능성이 있을 뿐 아니라 간에 독성작용을 일으킬 수도 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기위해 간을 통하지 않고 재빨리 흡수되어 병변으로 갈 수 있는 방편으로 직장좌약을 사용한다. 직장의 정맥흐름은 간을 거치지 않고 직접 하대정맥을 통해 우심방으로 흘러들기 때문이다. |

Removal of colon polyps can prevent colorectal cancer. Colon polyps and early cancer can have no symptoms. Therefore, regular screening is important.
