| 설명 | 바이러스로부터 기생충 크기까지의 생물을 원인으로 하는 병. 원인은 접촉전염성이며, 병원에서 감염되는 경우도 있다. 감염을 원인균에 따라 분류하면 바이러스, 세균, 클라미디아, 리켓차, 미코박테리움, 곰팡이, 원충, 윤충, 외부기생충 감염으로 나눌 수 있다. |

| 설명 | Epstein-Barr 바이러스에 의해서 일어나는 급성 감염병. 발열, 쇠약, 인후통, 간기능장애, 림프절비대, 간지라비대, 말초혈액중의 비정형림프구(단구와 유사한) 및 양세포에 대한 고역가의 응집소를 특징으로 한다. 질병의 경과중 및 회복기간을 통해서 현저한 무력증이 지속된다. 같은 증후군이 원발성 거대세포바이러스감염에도 동반된다. 키스병이라고도 하며, 침에 의한 EB바이러스 감염에 의해 발병한다. |

| infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis |
An infection of the eye caused by infection with the bacterium Moraxella bovis, spread by flies. Higher incidence of pinkeye may occur in herds not vaccinated for the IBR virus. Pinkeye vaccines are available. Good results with some of these vaccines have been claimed; however, published trials have not proven their effectiveness.
