| 설명 | 가로막의 반복되는 불수의적 경련과 성문의 갑작스런 닫힘으로 인하여, 공기의 유입이 차단되어 특징적인 소리를 만들어 내는 것. 가로막 및 호흡작용을 보조하는 근육이 갑자기 경련성 수축을 일으켜 성문이 열려 소리를 내는 현상이다. 거의 일정간격으로 되풀이되며 자연히 없어지는 경우가 많다. 뜨거운 것 또는 자극성 있는 것을 삼키거나, 식도나 위장에 장애가 있을 때 일어나며 요독증-알코올중독-니코틴중독-뇌종양 등도 원인이 되고 히스테리 같은 정신적인 원인도 있다. 젖먹이에게 일어나기 쉬운데 생후 1~2개월에서는 기저귀를 교환하는 등의 사소한 찬공기의 자극에도 일어난다. 일반적으로 해가 없어 30분 정도 하는 것은 괜찮지만 급성전염병-요독증-복막염-가록막밑 고름주머니-간종양-개복수술 후 등에 일어나는 것은 위험하다. |
