| 설명 | 체격을 외견상의 특징에 의하여 분류한 유형. 흔히 기질-성격과 결부시킨다. E.크레치머는, 키가 작고 어깨폭이 좁은 데 비하여 몸통이 굵은 비만형, 키가 크고 뼈나 근육의 발달이 나쁜 세장형, 이 둘의 중간형으로 어깨폭이 넓고 근골이 건장한 투사형의 세 가지 형을 설정하였다. 비만형은 명랑하고 사교적인 외향성의 기질, 세장형은 내성적인 기질과 결합되는 경향이 있다는 것을 지적하였다. |

Prominence of these structures is now considered normal in young children, including those who have died suddenly without preceding illnesses that might lead to atrophy of lymphoid tissue.
