| 설명 | 1. 혈관 또는 신경섬유로 구성된 실뭉치와 같은 공같은 구조를 가리키는 일반용어. 2. 콩팥의 겉질에 있는 토리에 들어있는 모세혈관의 덩어리. 털실뭉치 모양으로 보인다고 하여 이와같은 이름이 붙었다. 토리는 한 개의 콩팥에 100~150만 개나 있으며, 지금이 0.1~0.2mm의 크기이다. 그 한쪽에 있는 혈관극으로 들동맥이 들어가 모세혈관이 8~12 가닥으로 굴절하여 공모양으로 덩어리진 다음 혈관극에 있는 날동맥관으로 빠져 나간다. 혈관 벽을 이루고 있는 혈관 내피세포층의 바깥쪽에 얇은 기저막이 있는, 또 그 바깥쪽에는 피개상피세포층이 있다. 이들 막을 통해 혈액성분이 토리 주위의 토리주머니 내강으로 여과되어 여기서부터 요세관으로 운반된다. |

| gel filtration | <molecular biology> An important method for separating molecules according to molecular size by percolating the solution through beads of solvent permeated polymer that has pores of similar size to the solvent molecules.
