| 설명 | 음식물을 받아들이고 소리를 내는 기관. 윗입술과 아랫입술로 되는 입구를 구열이라 하고, 좌우에서 상하의 입술이 서로 결합되는 곳을 입구석이라 한다. 윗입술의 피부 중앙부에는 세로로 홈이 있는데, 이곳을 인중이라 한다. 발생학적으로 보면, 인중은 처음에는 그 양쪽 윗입술 부분과는 서로 떨어져 있던 것이 후에 서로 합쳐져서 윗입술로 된 것이다. 구열에서 안쪽으로 상하의 치아가 늘어서 있는 곳까지를 입안안뜰이라 하는데, 이곳은 옆 방향으로 뺨의 내면까지 뻗어 있고, 귀밑샘의 도관이 이곳으로 열려있다. 치열에서부터 안쪽으로 들어간 곳은 고유구강이라 하며, 위쪽은 입천장으로 경계되고, 아래쪽에는 혀가 입바닥으로부터 돌출해 있다. 입천장은 앞쪽의 단단입천장과 뒤쪽의 물렁입천장으로 구별된다. |

| 설명 | 자궁이란 태아가 수태되어서 분만전까지 발육하고 성장하는 공간이다. 자궁속에 병변이 있어 임신이 계속될 수 없거나 아니면 다른 이유로 임신되어 있는 태아를 제거하고자 할 경우에 사용되는 방법이다. 여기서 긁어내기 위하여는 우선 자궁의 입구에 해당하는 자궁목을 확장시켜야 한다. 여기에는 급속히 확장을 시도하는 법과 서서히 확장을 시도하는 2가지 방법이 있다. 자궁목을 급속히 확장할 때는 헤가르 목관확장기(Hegar's dilatator)를 사용한다. 이것은 작은 금속막대로 작은 크기부터 큰 크기까지 다양한 크기가 있어서 우선 작은 막대로 시작하여 점점 큰 크기의 막대를 자궁목에 넣어서 자궁목을 확장시킨다. 서서히 확장시킬 때는 Laminaria tent를 목관에 삽입하는 방법을 사용한다. Laminaria tent란 해초로 만든 작은 막대로 수분을 흡수하면 점점 늘어나는 성질이 있다. 이것을 자궁의 목에 넣으면 이것이 수분을 흡수하여 늘어나므로 천천히 자궁의 목이 늘어난다. 자궁목이 충분히 늘어나면 그 속으로 끝이 숟가락처럼 생긴 기구를 넣어서 자궁속의 병변이나 임신된 태아를 긁어내는데 여기에 사용되는 숟가락처럼 생긴 기구를 큐렛이라고 한다. 초기 임신중절 즉 유산과 같은 임신과 관련된 경우뿐만 아니라, 비임신 자궁의 자궁내막조직의 채취 및 제거를 위해서도 행해지는 수기이다. 이는 원칙적으로 마취하에 실시되는 것으로 자궁목관을 확장하고 기구로 자궁 내용물을 제거하고 큐렛으로 자궁내벽을 깨끗이 한다. 자궁천공이나 자궁목의 파열 등의 위험이 따르며, 수술후 감염 또는 출혈 등에 대한 주의가 필요하다. |

| 설명 | 고혈압에 의해서 생기는 심장병. 고혈압심장병이라는 진단을 붙이기 위해서는 최소한 다음과 같은 조건이 부합되어야 하는데, 첫째 심장혈관계에 심장병을 유발할 수 있을 만한 다른 병변이 없이 좌심실 비대가 있어야 하며, 둘째 고혈압을 앓았다는 병력이 있어야 한다. 주로 고혈압에 의한 심장병은 초기에는 좌심실이 비후라는 것으로 특징되어진다. 즉 혈압이 높으므로 혈액을 순환시키기 위해서는 그만큼 심장의 혈액을 보내는 힘이 좋아야 한다. 그 힘을 얻기위해서는 심근의 비후가 필요로 하여 좌심실 근육의 비후가 생긴다. 그리고 고혈압이 지속이 될 경우에는 결국 심장이 제 구실을 하지 못하고 펌프로서의 기능을 잃어버리게 되어 심장기능상실에 빠지게 된다. |

Occurs most often in young children (under 3) and is transmitted via close contact. Outbreaks occur most often in the spring. Usually begins as a throat infection (pharyngitis) that later includes a rash (blisters) on the hands, feet and diaper area. Blisters may also appear on the throat and in the mouth. Other features include anorexia, headache and fever. The illness is typically self-limited, lasting 5-7 days. There is no specific treatment other than general supportive care. An exanthematous eruption of small, pearl-gray vesicles of the fingers, toes, palms, and soles, accompanied by often painful vesicles and ulceration of the buccal mucous membrane and the tongue and by slight fever; the disease lasts 4 to 7 days, and is usually caused by Coxsackie virus type A-16, but other types have been identified.
