| 설명 | 무의식적이고, 빠른, 눈의 리듬감있는 운동을 말한다. 대개 위아래로의 빠른 반복운동이나, 옆으로의 빠른 눈운동을 가리킨다. 안진은 정상적으로 기차를 타고가다 밖의 경치를 바라볼 때 나타날 수 있다. 병적인 경우에는 속귀의 손상, 신경장애, 직업성 장애, 선천이상 등 많은 경우에서 볼 수 있다. |

| 설명 | 육체적-정신적 노동이 생체에 지나친 부담을 주었을 때 일어나는 것으로, 밤낮의 생활리듬과 관련을 유지하면서 회복되기도 하고 축적되기도 하는 것이 피로이다. 피로가 지나치게 축적되면 과로상태에 빠져들어 행동체력과 방위체력이 떨어진다. 따라서 과로는 가역적인 생리적 상태인데, 때로는 과로에서 병적 상태로 이행하는 일도 있다. 피로는 노동자뿐만 아니라 모든 사람에게 일어난다. |

| battle fatigue | The World War II name for what is known today as posttraumatic stress, this is a psychological disorder that develops in some individuals who have had major traumatic experiences (and, for example, have been in a serious accident or through a war). The person is typically numb at first but later has symptoms including depression, excessive irritability, guilt (for having survived while others died), recurrent nightmares, flashbacks to the traumatic scene, and overreactions to sudden noises. Common concurrent symptoms (of six months duration) include impairment of memory or concentration, diffuse pain, sore throat, tender lymph nodes, headaches of a new type, pattern, or severity, and unrefreshing sleep. The aetiology is suspected to be viral or immunologic.
