| 설명 | 자기의 성기나 나체를 알지 못하는 사람에게 드러내 보임으로써 성적 만족을 얻는 이상 성욕 증상인 성적 도착의 한 가지. 반복적 행위를 하며, 상대방을 놀라게 하고, 동요시키기는 하지만 노출 이상의 성적 행위를 하려고 하지는 않는다. 프로이드는 노출증에는 자기의 성기를 상대에게 확인시킴으로서 거세 불안을 극복하는 기능이 있고, 여성에서는 소아적 만족의 반복이라고 풀이하였다. 어린이에게도 음부 노출을 좋아하는 시기가 있는데, 정신분석학에서는 그러한 현상을 성욕의 자기애적 단계에서의 고정, 즉 성욕이 아직 성숙하지 못한 상태로 머문 것이라고 설명한다. |
