Exfoliatine (lat. Exfoliation=Abbl?tern) sind von bestimmten Bakterien (v.a. Staphylococcus aureus) gebildete Toxine, welche beim Menschen und manchen Tieren zur intraepidermalen Spaltbildung f?ren. Die Spaltbildung findet zwischen dem Stratum spinosum und dem Stratum granulosum statt. Man unterscheidet das Exfoliatin A und B.
