Gentle and easy death, esp for those suffering from terminal or painful illness. Legal in the Netherlands but illegal in almost every other country. The Northern Territories of Australia introduced law in 1995 to allowed it, but the Australian federal govt overturned the law in 1997. NZ's parliament wouldn't even debate it - reflecting the belief that the individual has no final say about their own life.
