| 설명 | 리튬은 정신과에서 조울병(manic depressive disease) 너무나 지나친 자신감, 일에의 열정, 허황된 꿈 등의 조증증세와 또 지나친 우울증세, 자살시도 등의 우울증세가 교차되어 나타나는 정신과의 대표적인 병의 하나)의 치료제로 쓰인다. 그 작용메커니즘은 아직 명확히 밝혀져 있지 않지만, 조울증 중 조증의 시기에 아주 뛰어난 효과를 발휘하여 일차 선택약으로 쓰이고 있다. 하지만, 부작용이 심하므로 사용시에 꼭 혈중농도를 알아보아야 하며 미리 힘줄반사의 정도, 신기능장애의 유무등을 꼭 조사해야 한다. |
