a condition clinically indistinguishable from seborrheic dermatitis, due to alteration of the pattern of sebaceous gland retention, usually occurring as a manifestation of ariboflavinosis, and characterized by greasy scaling lesions involving the alae nasi, malar areas, canthi of the eyes, and earlobes and sometimes the scrotum or vulva.
