| 설명 | 원래 고환은 배안에서 발생되어서 분만 2개월 이전에 음낭으로 내려오게 된다. 잠복고환증이란 정상적으로 음낭으로 내려와야 하는 고환이 내려오지 않고 계속해서 복강속에 머무는 것을 말한다. 이렇게 되어 오래동안 고환이 복강속에 머물게 되면, 복강속의 높은 온도로 말미암아 고환속의 정자를 만드는 생식세포가 죽게되어 정자를 생산하지 못하게 된다. 그래서 생후 3~4세가 되면 고환을 강제로 수술적 방법으로 음낭속으로 끌어내리는 고환고정술(orchiopexy)를 시행한다. |
